On Monday (June 7), Anand Mahindra shared a video montage on Twitter. The video begins by showing a few people walking on the streets while using their phones. Each of them bumps into something or hurt themselves because they were too engrossed to notice what was in front of them. However, the video has a bigger message. It ends with a clip of a woman who is seen texting while driving and suddenly she is hit by a vehicle.
Phones have become a part and parcel of our lives and by no means are we separable. However, this video shared by Anand Mahindra makes us aware how things can go wrong if we use our phones while driving or walking on a busy street. “I can count at least 2 of these which happened to me. From then on I keep my phone securely pocketed when on the move…(thanks for sharing this @ErikSolheim) (sic).” Anand Mahindra wrote. The video has over one million views.
