June 22 : Chairman of the CPN-Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda) has said that every effort is being made to save the country and the constitution from an accident.
He said that the recent political developments have raised fears that the constitution may collapse.
Stating that the situation is like what will happen to the country, former Prime Minister Prachanda said, “Many Nepali people are aware and leaders and activists within the political parties have a responsibility towards the nation. Republican democracy also survives and the black cloud that seeks to lift nationalism will soon disappear. ‘
He said he was saddened by the disintegration of the Communist Party of Nepal, which has a two-thirds majority.
Prachanda has come to Chitwan to observe the area cut by the river in Chitwan and to participate in the seventh day tribute program of the late father of former Deputy Speaker Purna Kumari Subedi.
