Kathmandu Jun 1 :Nepali workers who have gone for foreign employment in the Gulf countries and Malaysia will have to stay in the hotel quarantine for only five days when they come to Nepal. The government has set the standard for two-way flights a year to India and three one-way flights to China and Qatar each year, targeting passengers coming from there.
According to the criteria, passengers coming from foreign employment will have to stay in the hotel quarantine for five days. Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Yadav Prasad Koirala, has informed that they will be allowed to stay at home / destination for 10 more days after the PCR test is negative. The ministry has brought such a provision by making public the criteria that Nepali and foreign nationals should follow when coming to Nepal from abroad.
